About the cottage
Popov cottage
The cottage was created as an ideal place for you and your family or friends to relax. It is located in a quiet part of Jáchymov and is divided into two apartments. You can rent either the whole cottage or one of the apartments. With other guests you will share only the outdoor areas and the entrance to the house.
Whether you rent one apartment or the whole cottage, you will have at your disposal, in addition to beautiful views of Jáchymov and the opposite mountains, a spacious garden with outdoor seating and bonfire place.
And why is it called the Popov Cottage? Because the cottage is the last house in the street towards the extinct settlement of Popov. This happened after the displacement of the German population after World War II and the subsequent uranium mining, when the remaining inhabitants were evicted and the houses in Upper Popov were dismantled.
